Always creating something new. The freedom to create. The interaction with students who are excited and sparking interest in those who are less excited. What is one personal or professional goal that you have for yourself, your school or your department? To teach more communicatively and to provide real language experiences for students. Also providing students with confidence to speak German with native speakers. What is one of your favorite travel experiences? All of them!! Every one is valuable, but the best are when you can live as a person from the culture, where you can make home in a new place. Do you have any advice for other world language teachers? Try out a variety of teaching strategies and find a strategy (or a few) that fits your personality.
