What is the most rewarding part of your career as a language teacher?
Building relationships with my students and helping them further their passion for language, culture, and travel.

​What is one personal or professional goal that you have for yourself, your school or your department?
I would like to get a Master’s degree in French teaching. I would also like to try TPRS and movie talks in my classroom.

What is one of your favorite travel experiences?
Experiencing Paris with students for their first time. I love my student trips because I get to see my favorite places through their eyes! After our first day in Paris they always have so much confidence in their skills to navigate the city and the public transportation. It’s amazing!

Do you have any advice for other world language teachers?
Remember to have fun! Continue to tap into your passion for language and remind yourself why you teach even on very tough days.
