What is the most rewarding part of your career as a language teacher? I get so excited when I hear my students conversing with their friends or other students out in the hallway using the Spanish we learned in class.  I love their excitement to speak a new word or phrase!

What is one personal or professional goal that you have for yourself, your school or your department?  My goal over the next summer / school year is to prepare my classroom to move toward the TPRS modality.  I’m ready to shake up my teaching and try something new and amazing!

What is one of your favorite travel experiences?  I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and attended immersive language classes while living with a Spanish family.  It was one of the best experiences of my life!

Do you have any advice for other world language teachers?  Let’s keep working to keep our language classes cutting edge, fresh and fun.  It’s so important to educate globally aware young men and women, why not do it with pizzazz!
